Modified Polypropylene (MPP) power cable protection pipe is designed for pipeline and cable construction projects in special sections such as roads, railways, buildings and riverbeds, without extensive mud/earth excavation and road damage.
Compared with the traditional trenching and pipe-burying method, the trenchless construction method better meets current environmental protection requirements. It eliminates nuisances caused by conventional construction, including dust emission and traffic congestion. This technology enables pipeline laying in areas where excavation is not feasible, such as heritage protection zones, downtown areas, farmland reserves, expressways and rivers.

Product Introduction

Modified Polypropylene MPP power cable protection pipe features high temperature resistance and external pressure resistance, and is suitable for cable ducting for high-voltage power transmission cables of 10kV and above. This pipe is available in two standard grades: General Type and Reinforced Type.

General Type MPP pipe: for trenched installation, or trenchless crossing projects with burial depth less than 4m.
Reinforced Type MPP pipe: for trenchless crossing projects with burial depth greater than 4m.
